62 High Street

This building is thought to outdate its neighbour The Red Lion Public House although it is shown in an Ordnance Survey map dated 1864 as being part of the same building. The building is thought to be built of rendered brick and timber framing, it is two storeys high with an attic. The rear of the building has been extended with the original windows having been replaced with 19th century sashes and a modern shop window.
